HC School Great Lakes Aug 1942; 1/2 grads last names A-M went to Guadalcanal w/Marines. Very lucky me went to NAS Glenview IL. Commissioned Amphib TrngBase Coronado 1943, wound up independent duty floating drydock ARD25 off Saipan late 1945.

I was onboard the E from 74 - 77 as the Preventive Medicne Technician. Made E-7 while onboard. Also, of course, I spent time in the Nam with the Marines. 65 - 66 and then went back onboard ship and was in country several other times for different reasons. Was also involved with Aero Medi-evac as the Navy Rep. to the Pacific Command Joint Medical Regulating Office, CINCPAC. We were the ones who regulated all the patients to you at Portsmouth and other military hospitals from Viet Nam and the Pacific area. Take Care Dale Fraser HMCS/USN/RET

Nicely done site. I enjoyed my visit. I served with Bravo Company 1st Bn 5th Marine Regiment from Feb 1969 until Jan 1970.
