i was doing a web search on the bread and puppet theater for a class i am teaching...this site made me cry in a beautiful way. what a tribute to a life lived fully.

Dear Mr. Kuhn,
I tried sending you an email at the
email address on your site, but it
would not go thru. So I am hoping
this message will reach you.
Some how the Universe decided that
I was to visit the
Bread and Puppet Theatre today in
Glover, VT. I
slowly took in all that I could behold
of the years
and years of immense creativity on
display there and
after leaving the barn, continued
exploring up toward
the outhouses and through the hay
fields until I came
upon the amazing and truly moving
memorials in the
pine grove. I felt as if I had been
blessed to have
come in contact with this sacred and
very touching
spot which I honored deeply.
In particular when I saw the picture of
Katharina, I
felt a kind of kindred connection -- as
if I had known
her, even though we had never really
met in this
lifetime. I was very inspired by a
passage of
Goethe's that was part of her
memorial and I was
wondering if by any chance you had a
copy of this
quote that you could send my way.
Again, it was as if the Universe had
brought me to
this place on this gloriously beautiful
summer day to
see these words -- words that I
would like to read
again -- words that I would like to
bring into my life
and my way of living this life.
I was also very moved by the
beautiful website that
you created in Katharina's memory.
I hope this email message finds you
in good health and
spirit. If you can send me this
passage, I would be
grateful. If you can not, perhaps you
can point me in
the right direction as to where I might
find it.
