I first discovered Bottle Village about 1968 while growing up in Northridge. I was exploring Simi Valley on my Honda and just happened to see it. I stopped and Grandma Prisbey gave me a personal tour. I couldn't believe it! I later became editor of the Pierce College Roundup and wrote a story about her, which I still have somewhere. About the same time, the L.A. Times discovered her and did a story as well. I haven't been back in over 30 years so was thrilled to see your web site. I intend to donate and do whatever I can in my limited way to help see the Village restored. Bless you all for your work.

I saw the documentary on the bottle village in an architectural history class in 1994. I have never been able to get the images out of my mind. It is so beautiful.

I was looking for the story by Hans Christian Andersen ..."The Bottle" and found this site...very nice to see this is still going. Maybe someday I'll get to go there. Thanks...Mary

I visited the bottle village as a young boy many times and paid $.10 for the tour. I have lived in Simi since 1949 and am currently a website designer, if I can help in any way please let me know

I have a few items that Grandma Prisbrey gave to me years ago that I have always kept to remember what a sweet old lady she was. I spent many hours with her and loved her stories.
