Hi Carolyn,
I'm researching the Ponder connection. My grandmother was a Ponder, her father's name was John.I found them in the 199 Tennessee Census in Nashville with their chilre but I haven't been able to go back any farther. John married Mattie Justice on February 22, 1883 in Smith County, Tennessee. GREAT WEBSITE THANKS
