I have recently received confirmation of what I had suspected for a very long time. My gg-grandmother was Amanda Frances Harper, who married William Thompson. Their daughter,Martha Caroline Thompson was my g-grandmother. Amanda Harper was the daughter of John Harper. I have searched for these people for so long. I am thrilled to finally know who they are.

I am researching DEASON from two directions. My husband is connected to DEASON through his maternal great Grandmother, Frances Ellen ("Fannie") DEASON. Fannie's lineage was: William Deason & Rhoda (?)>John Deason (1814 NC) m. on Feb. 26, 1836 in Autauga Co., AL to J. Mary GRAY>William Newton Deason (1839 NC) & Amarinth (?)>Frances Ellen Deason b. 1864 Coosa Co., AL d. Oct 1923 in AL. There are many Deason's buried at Hatchett Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Brownville,AL. I also have a DEASON connection through the 3rd. wife of my great grandfather, Burrill O.T. PATRICK of Chilton Co., AL. GGrandpa Patrick was m. 4 times. One of his wives was Mary E. DEASON a daughter of Benjamin Frankin DEASON and Louisa T. RAY. Other children of Benjamin were: Joseph W.; Samuel A.; M.D.; William Alfonsa; I.G.; Sarah Ann; Isaac Monroe; Thomas Jefferson & Tillman Jackson (twins)> Elijay Benjaman; Delemmie Dicey; Franklin Lafayette.
