Hi: You have agreat site, it is very informational. We have a Canadian gelding that we absolutely love to death and we are starting to look for a second one and we hope that we are as lucky as were the first time, the Canadian horse is the only horse for us!

Hello! I really enjoyed reading your
sight...lots of info! Last year I bought,
sight unseen, a 2 year old, Gruella
mare, Canadian/Quarter horse
cross, from a friend in Alberta. He
delivered her to me on his way to
South Carolina, where he was
delivering 2 other horses. We did not
know at the time that she was
pregnant from one of his 2 year old
pure bred stallions. She gave birth to
a beautiful gruella colt in May of this
year. My mare is one of the calmest
horses I have ever seen...nothing
spooks her. She is also the biggest
slowpoke and in no hurry to go
anywhere...good for kids!!! I love her
alot and would have a very hard time
selling her. Her baby is also the
most gentle and loveable little guy.
He has very nice action at a trot and
will be quite the looker when he's
older! He was recently gelded and
recovered quite quickly!! Maybe you
would know the breeder?...Shane
Juuti from West Gimlet Farm in
Rimley, Alberta. Both him and his
wife are some of the nicest horse
people around. They certainly know
their horses. They have some
beautiful pure and crossbred ones.
Well if you would like to see any
pictures of my "Canadians" please
email me! :).

Hello nephew - I was browsing the internet for information on the name "Hillsden" and found your name. I was interested in the fact you were raising the "Canadian" breed of horse because I had just read about them in a copy od Readers Digest magazine and had then seen one at the Western Agribition in Regina. They are a beautiful horse. I haven't been to B.C. for years but it would be interesting to travel that way some day. I have never met Yvonne so please give her a big hug and kiss from us (Grace and I). Wish you the best of success. God Bless. Allen Hillsden, 87 Rink Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 5V9.

I really liked this site. I am a big Canadian Horse fan and may be buying one soon. I put my e-mail address for anyone that would like to contact me about this amazing breed. I would like to learn more about the Canadians, such as what it is like to own one and what you need to know. That question is serving as a difficult one because information about them is not published in most books. If anyone has information for me, please feel free to e-mail me as soon as possible. Put "canadian horse" in the subject.
thanks
Kate
