Just wanted to say a very big thank you to Yvonne and Helen for being so patient and encouraging with Chloe and Zinzan. Chloe is so much more confident, enjoying training night and looking forward to trying for the Bronze award so she can get going with the agility!

Well done today to you and the "Brown Bomber" - you both deserved it. He is a lovely boy with such a fab temperament - you are going to have such fun with him in trials in the future. The only way is up!!!!!!

Wait till I tell Zoonie we have a surefire way of getting in contact now!

Well at last, Cassie has passed her Gold citizens award. Thanks to Yvonne and all the members of the Darcregan training club for their support and encouragement through some "challenging" times with a weimaraner who has not always been the easiest. We particularly look forward to agility on a sunday, not only for the training but the socialising that also goes on (not to mention the tea and cake Sean!). It is quite a unique atmosphere, a great bunch of people and fabulous dogs. Eilish - Ross was just as excited as you going to Crufts this year and can't wait for it next year again. Thanks for everything and good luck to Yvonne and John with their impending arrival (of the two leg variety). Fiona, Ross and Cassie ☺

I loved my boy, from the moment I laid eyes on him, to the moment I closed his eyes for him.
Sometime between 8:30 and 9:00am on Sunday morning, his heart stopped. He was lying on his side and at first glance, he looked like he was sleeping, only he wasn’t breathing.
The post mortem results show that he had defective heart valves - not cardiomyopathy. The heart was pumping, but no blood was getting in. The vet said he was born with this problem.
He had a good life. So it was 6 years shorter than it should have been, but he was well loved (and spoilt) by all of us and he knew it. He looked so peaceful lying there. I don't think he knew what happened. He'll never know old age and all the pain it brings - arthritis, or bad hearing or cataracts. He left us in his sleep – one of the best ways to go, quietly, painlessly, without a struggle.

Well what can I say, I am so proud and pleased that Dougal has passed his Gold Award. We (Robbie, Dougal and myself) have had such a good time at the training classes and we are going to miss them. What will we do on a Wednesday evening now!! Thanks for all the advice, your patience and above all for making the classes such fun.
