There are Bothas in Transylvania.As far as I know my lineage, one of my ancestor is know to be Martin Botha in XVI century.He was a fortress commander in Chioar County,Wich is now in North Transilvania, Maramures. If you know much more about Botha in Transylvania, please share.

Hello Almal Ek is op soek na Familie van my wat in Phalaborwe gebly het of bly. Ek is Mari Kruger, (gebore Botha). My Pa Gert Botha is oorlede so 21 jaar terug en ek het kontak verloor met sy susters. Tannie Hetta Strijdom, Tannie Joleen Van Niekerk. My Ouma Marie Botha (pa se ma) is ook oor lede 1992 or 1993, nie seker watter jaar sy oorlede is nie. Ek weet Joleen van Niekerk (my pa se suster) het Phalaborwa toe getrek,maar weet nie of hulle nog daar is nie. Sy het Twee kinders Mariaan, en n seun maar sy naam kan ek nie onthou nie. Tannie Hetta Strijdom het 3 kinders, Nicky, Marjeike en Welma. My Pa Gert Botha was getroued aan my ma Hantie (nou Kruger). hulle het twee kinders saam gehad, Ek Mari en my boetie Gert. Dan het hy half suster en 'n Half broer gehad, ek het net hulle name. Ria, Linda, Lottie, Martie weet nie wat die broer se naam is nie. As daar enige iemand is wat my kan help ek wil baie graag weer met my oorlede pa se familie kontak maak. Ek sal dit so wardeer. Ek soek na ons familie my pa se naam was Johan Botha en hy was getroud met Helena Botha my pa het by n glas vevangings besigheid gewerk en ons het in Gedult Spings gebly ons is 8 Botha's Johan,Louis,Hendrik,Chrissie,Linda,Phillip,Violet en Lenette Botha. Ons pa Johan Botha is in n motor ongeluk dood in Springs +- 1960-1961. Ek was aangeneem deur Klassie Joubert en Dina Joubert wat op Sundra gebly het my susters was ook by pleeg ouers my broers was in die weeshius op Potchefstroom.
