What an Ordeal. This is my email to NFPA. http://www.nfpainc.org/index.cfm My husband and I are interested in becoming Foster parents. I am researching everything possible about Foster Parenting and I came across "The Dark Side of Foster Care" http://members.aol.com/fpallegations/ and many more allegation Horror stories like it. Your website doesn't mention any allegations or resolutions to any and what type of assistance is given. Looks like Foster Parents are hard to come by with so many kids needing a stable home, why doesn't this site run stories on allegations, NFPA's stance with the Foster Parents and the resolution of each allegation case? The statistics show that 1 out of 10 children report allegations and growing. My husband works for the Space Military Defense and I am working on 6 years with Hewlett Packard, I would not want to risk my Husband or myself's reputation if false allegations are coming out more and more on Foster Parents and nothing is done to resolve and clear the Foster Parents. NFPA does not show any support for the Foster Parents through the child allegations.
