Wow! I thought I was the only one feeling this way. It amazes me how one moment I can go from being considered one of the best foster parents in our agency, they even sent me to an all expense paid conference, to not being allowed to have a license all over an unfounded ridiculous accusation from a child.

A caseworker turned me in to the abuse hotline, because I didn't dance to his flute. I do not recruit any fosterparents presently, because I do not like how the system works. I am still a foster parent and will stay, I don't care how much I get in trouble. I know I do my best and the truth will come out. Marion

Last year over one million American families were falsely accused of child abuse!!! The abuse of children is a horrendous and unacceptable crime in any society and it is correct that when such acts occur, immediate protection is available for the children and appropriate action is taken in regard to the offenders. This is my story: I adopted my little boy at the age of 8 months ,seven years after biological mother asks for baby to be return to her. My experience with Social workers was so frustrated and unbelievable. They make decision in less than one week what is "the best interests of the child", without any record check, any information about biological mother, they return my little boy to her. I'm talking about biological mother who abandoned and who already left 2 kids in Orphanage Home. And I can't do anything because I am not biological family. On the end I truly felt like a cleaning lady who finished her job and now can go, we don't need you any more! Today he is 21 and nobody knows where he is. Many parents have suffered through these same false allegations from their very own children and the same treatment. After senselessly destroying their own families, is it any wonder that these sociopathic children next turn on their new foster family? I am shocked that you seem to only recognize and have sympathy for other foster parents enduring false allegations by psychologically ill children without recognizing the unbelievable suffering biological parents endure when their own beloved child turns on them so inexplicably. Our family has been destroyed by the psychotic lies of our oldest child, our own child. And CPS not only believed her despite all imaginable evidence to the contrary, they rewarded her mental illness. May those foster parents among you come to understand the true horrors of CPS - that the system and process which brought those foster children to your home, first abused many of the parents, siblings, families, in the name of protecting children who willfully made false allegations of abuse.
