This has been a long time coming! There is no protection or respect for Foster Parents in the situation of false allocations. I find this the straw that broke the "Families" back.

We have been Foster Parent's now little over a year and have had 17teen children in and out of our home we also heave 4 Bio Children that are grown we Love each and every minute we spend with all our children..God has blessed was very much .

We are going thru great trials of false alligations right now. So this was very helpful. I felt so alone. We have struggled with getting a lawyer.This will be against Medical Foster care.No one is willing to stick their neck out and do the right thing. GOD brought us to it, HE will see us thru it..We claim our miracle. And believe me, it will have to be. Thanks for this site..

We have not been accused of anything, but we are foster parents in crisis. We have a two and a half year old foster daughter who was removed from our home, and we are absolutly devastated. To make a very long story short, she was placed with us when she was 7 days old, drug exposed. Withing the first 5 months of her life, her biological parents rarly attended visitation. In June of 2001, her bio father was put in prison on an assault charge, and the bio mother disappeared, since to have given birth to drug exposed child #6. Both biological parents requested that our family adopt this little girl. We crossed the line of being her foster parents long ago, the bio parents, and the agency gave us that right. On 3 other occasions, the last being Nov 2002, the bio father was still requesting us to adopt her. Since his release from prison, he started visitation with her, and fell in love with her, and she was removed from us, to return to him on 6/17/03. We have not heard anything on how she is, she must be horribly confused. Court is on 6/25, at which, the agency is dropping the grant for custody, considering this to be a successful reunification. I do not know how these people do not fight the laws and sleep at night. I guess as long as they know where their children are laying their heads, they are alright. My child is laying her head with a drug dealing, drug addicted felon. A 40 year felon with a conviction upon conviction since his age of 13. Any advice is appreciated, we are caught between trying to play it safe, and fighting, until she is back in our home.
