Your Poem:
Stone by stone I dedicate this to my mother Kelly Jo Thompson By: Catrinea Lee I have a wall you can not see, Because it’s deep inside of me. It blocks my heat on every side And helps emotions there to hide Yow can’t reach in I can’t reach out You wonder what it’s all about The wall I built that you can’t see result’s from insecurity Each time my tender heart was hurt The scares within grew worse and worse /stone by stone I built a wall That’s now so thick it will not fall Please understand that it’s not you Contiue trying to breakthrough I want to so much to show myself And love you will really help. So bit by bit Chip at my wall Till stone by stone starts to fall I know the process will be slow It’s never easy to let go of failures long ingrained Upon one’s heart from years to years of pain I’m so afraid To let you in I know I might get hurt again I try so hard to break through the wall But seems to get nowhere at all. For stone upon each stone I’ve stacked and left between them not a crack The only way To make it fall Are impressions in the wall? I did the best I could to build a perfect wall But there are still few flaws which are the key To breaking through to me Please use each flaw To cause a crack To know a stone of my wall For just as stone by stone was laid With every ache Please be the one Who cares enough? To find the flaws No matter what!

Your Poem:
my backyard in my backyard green grass grows and flowers bloom in the spring and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard tip toe to full blown the minds eye wanders to places unknown and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard fluffy dandelions blow linger in the air… then fall like snow and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard weeds sprout year round golden strands sway like hips to a moroccan drum sound and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard long thorns shoot from berry bushes closing in with poison at the root and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard stretching tall i stand in search of the promise land i peek through cracks/stare through holes beyond the fence where nobody knows i exist and little black girls sing freedom ring…freedom ring… in my backyard peaks the sun after five nights of pouring rain the day anew begun and little black girls sing…

Your Poem:
The Valley was peaceful, lush and green. Huge trees gave shade and wild flowers bloomed in a variety of colors. A small heard of horses grazed occasionally lifting their heads to check the location of the newcomer or to get a drink from the nearby stream. A bright light flashed. A very intense light with a full spectrum of colors usually not seen by the naked eye. It lasted only an instant but commanded your full attention. The valley was not green anymore. Huge structures marred this once beautiful valley. The horses were gone replaced by machines. A haze of smoke hovered over the once pristine sky and dead fish floated in the stream. Yet another awesome flash of light and the land was bare. No trees, no structures, no horses, no machines. Everything was dead. The stream still flowed heavily polluted. Flash of the light and there was new life. Plants sprung forth, bugs off all sizes and shapes took over the land. One last flash took me back to the peaceful valley. The circle of life is continuous even if we are not. A fact that should be remembered. The End. Contact Author at zcrystalpenn@yahoo.com
