I just purchased the book, The Indigo Children, and have not been able to stop reading it. It is helping me find more possitive ways to deal with my 8yr old daughter. We have been in counseling for four years and I have been trying to change her since she was born, the schools want her to conform and insisted I medicate her (which I did) I finally started homeschooling her due to the fact that she was just not like the other children, she takes everything very serious, she is definately not a follower, she can not sit quitely like the other children and can get very defiant when she does not think she is being treated like she thinks she should be. She is extremely smart and gets bored if her mind is not being challenged. I have always called her my highmaintenance child. I have spoken to alot of people about ways to help her cope with her differences and many people have told me after meeting her that she is an old soul and I did not understand what they were talking about until reading this book and am very thankful that I found this book.

Blessings to you for thye work you do. As a hard of hearing woman (since 2 yrs.) of 50, I have always felt that there was sooo much going on within and between people that they weren't talking about.
