Your page has helped me and many of my classmates pass our AP English class. Most of her former students who have taken college English say that she is harder than any Comp teacher they have ever had. Thanks bunches!!!!

I found this site to be absolutely amazing. It helped me a great deal with the novel A Tale of Two Cities. If it weren't for the info on this site I don't know what I would have to get help with my Dickens ISU. Thanks so much for creating this outstanding website.

I am currently working on a stage adaptation of Tale of Two Cities. Why? Because I love the work. I have created an environmental production of Christmas Carol that is performed by 3 actors in a tea room in Orlando, Florida. Thanks for the sparks for my imagination. Trying to make a cohesive piece of this very convoluted plot line has been difficult and the first draft focused more on plot than on character development. But that's the difference between o novel and and play. All we have is what they say. Although I like to leave in much of his narrative too much doesn't work either. And you have to focus on one character. Dickens has developed lots of the characters but Carton who I believe should be the central character is really very vague or full of undivulged secrets. Anyway thanks for your
