Courtney murdered Kurt because in order for him to put a shotgun in his mouth and pull the trigger would be impossible because of the problem with his arm. He would have had to use his feet to pull the trigger, and when they found his body, he had his shoes on. Courtney killed him so she could recive all of his money.
