Sorry for the posters with a poor experience. Norris Lake is always so awesome and I hate to hear anyone not having a good time. On your next trip try our log cabin Southern Comfort. We take great pride in the lake and try and provide our guest a wonderful experience, We have very few complaints in our guest book. Look for Southern Comfort at turtletoms.com. 161439Norris Lake was great, the house was good too. The driveway to the house was VERY steep, it did not appear that way on the internet. The steps from the house and the stones to the water were really slippery when it rained. The dock was horrible!! My sons had to spend time trying to fix the cement blocks so we could get from from the stones to the dock. They put a rope thru the trees so we had something to hold on to. Several times during the week, they had to adjust the blocks so we didn't slip into the water. Rocks at the water's edge, so there could have been serious injuries if someone fell. Also the ladder to the water, from the dock, was really loose. We used it a couple of times before it came off!!! If we would not have had our boat there with a ladder, we would have had no way to get in and out of the water. For the price charged, I think the owners really need to take care of these things. I'm not sure if I would rent this house again. We want to come back to Norris Lake again, we would probaly look for something else to rent.

Norris lake is an awesome lake. That is in the spring and fall after the Ohio infestation. Once they all go back to Ohio, it's a wonderful, peaceful, and clam lake.

Loved the lewis cottage owner was very very nice, tried to help in any way!!! Cottage was clean, sheets & towels were provided!!! Will be back next year!!! Great place to stay!!!!Just love Norris lake!

Very dirty,upstairs refrigerator didn't work well,had to bleach towels before we could use them,sheets were old. When we arrived the downstairs carpet was so wet so we were unable to use the downstairs for the first 5 nights(we only had a week). We asked for an adjustment on the rent but owner refused . Definitely would not recommend!!
