Hello, Shalom! Your website is wonderful although quite often sad when refering to Vilna.. About your name NOAR; I am surprized not having seen any reference to the Hebrew name "Noach" which apparently sounds just like the Noar?? I was just wondering. With all best wishes to all the Noars spread all over the world!

I'm trying to find family history. My great grandparents were from Vilna. If you have any information on a Max Resnick or a Jennie Lanvenda please contact me. They would have been in vilna in the early 1900's????

I was born in South Africa in 1945. My father left Vilna in 1930 to go to SA.He brought his widowed sister-Lena Gilinsky and 2 daughters to SA in 1936.He left his brother AVRAMELI TREGER plus wife and son. Also sister BLUMA GURWICZ plus husband and 1xdaughter and 2xteenage boys. ALL were killed except the 2 boys whom my father brought to SA in 1947.All survivors are still alive and in late 70s today though not in good health. My father died in1974 aged 81.Thank u for a wonderfull webpage... Thank you very much.
