We are restoring a ship ground up, I located the armament, hoist, and rocket launchers. What I would like to do is if there is one particular HH1-K that would best represent the service of the ship and the men that served, that might be the way to go. That way through this ship many more people can be educated, and many more vets service will be appreciated by John Q. Public. We would like to get as many pictures as we can and incorporate as many likeness as possible so that everyone feels like it could be part their ship. The ship is Bell HH1-K ser#157194 HA(L)4 Retired 1989 now owned by The Darkhorse Military Aviation Museum, Long Beach Airport, Long Beach Ca.(562)420-3600

Hi, I was a Seawolf doorgunner at Det 2 during my time in Viet Nam, 3/68-3/69. Nice site. Good to see the wolves are still going for it.

I first learned of your squadron when I was still in High School from my cousin who was an army cook in vietnam in the mid 60s After reading Mr. Kelly's book (3 times) I was inspired to build a 1/35 scale model diorama of a hot evac off the back of a pbr. Even though I was a shade young for Vietnam I admire the job you guys did over there. Thanks for listenung.
Sincerely
Will Snyder

Thanks for the look inside where you've been. The Seawolf.org site from some of your old squadron mates left me deeply impressed and moved.

Dennis Chester and his Seawolf Brothers saved our bacon on many occassions. I went to boot camp with Dennis. He was a door gunner on Seawolfs and I was a gunner on STAB Boats, call sign "Racing Danger 001". We worked the Grand Canal betweem An Long and Thuy Nhon. Our base camp was Phuoc Xuyen.
