Robert B. Summers was my biological grandfather. I believe he is the Robert Byron Summers that is in your line. My father was the biological son of Robert B. Summers and Rubene Rosamond (Chipman)Summers Jarrell. There were two other siblings as well(Robert and Marilyn)who live in California. My father was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma as William Joseph Summers and was raised by Tom and Julia Clegg who later adopted and changed his name to Billy Joe Clegg. He new his birth family...I met my grandmother Ruby and talked with my Aunt Marilyn after my father's death. I am in search of more information about my father's biological maternal and paternal line. If you can help I would appreciate it. Thank you, Carmen Arn

Shellie, I just stumbled onto your website through Cyndi's List. I am trying to get a line on a Boots family in Indiana. The daughter, Minnie Belle Boots married my grandfather, John A. Finley in about 1908 or 1909. They were married in Crowley, Louisiana and had a son, my father, Quintin A. Finley, in 1910. I cannot seem to locate the Boots in Indiana that are part of this line. From the 1910 Fed. Census, I know that her father (name unk) was apparently from Arkansas. I do not know if there were any brothers or sisters. Have been told she was from Smithport, IN but was in Indianapolis when she met my grandfather. Thought, perhaps, you might have info on other Boots lines in the area and might be able to help me.
