As opposed to the rom reviewer's comments you can, in fact, order each individual character to cast different spells at the same time as long as you use the alternate character menu, then, lastly, your own(whichever character you actively control).

Don't take this wrong, I think the reviews are good and am not claiming to write better ones. I just disagree with a few points-and the scores. 1. I could be wrong but I don't think they have machine guns in Dune. See book or film. I think there are machine gun noises somewhere though. 2.You can access your radar map by building an outpost and as many windtraps you need to support it 3.The music isn't that bad and it varies a lot dependant on what your doing (it seems to me) instead of just looping. (there's always mute if you really hate it :-) 4. Missions 1&2 don't involve killing enemy houses, (unless you choose to on 2), some buildings can be infiltrated by rocket troops so it's not just destroy. 5.You're too used to your mouses :-) I've completed it 3 times with the mega drive controllers. Click and drag would be easier but it's not that bad as bulding is restricted so you can't have loads anyway. It's fiddly but not 'bloody hard'. 6. The graphics are OK for a real time strategy for the mega drive. Most of the early Megadrive/Genesis games have the kind of chunky colourful look. Don't judge by PC standards as the PC version Dune II: Building of a Dynasty looks very different. 7. As far as longevity goes, I've had it for years and it's more original than later versions of the genre for the PC-and I play it more. Sorry if it's long, just expressing an opinion-don't flame me. -zeb
