I was stationed at Pruem from Oct.54 to Feb.56, then transfered to Rothwestern. I returned to the States in Feb.58.I retired from the Air Force at Offutt AFB, NE in Apr.1975.

Rothwesten was my home from Apr 1956 until Apr 1958. Worked as a Teletype Operator, Crypto Operator, and back to Teletype operator. Retired from USAF in 1979 and currently work at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Wa

Served at Rothwesten from 3/15/54 till 3/15/57. Still regard this time as "the good times". Old friendships that have survived the raveges of time. It's great to have those memories made fresh with your hard work. Thank You. dick

Arrived at Rothwesten in April 1955, assigned to Detachment #3 as Radio Operator (additional Crypto Op). In Nov 1956 our Detachment moved to RAF Celle and became Detachment #6. Left Celle in July 1958. These two assignments were some of the bet times of my life. I spent 20 years in the Air Froce, 12 years in Germany. I retired from the Air Force at Travis AFB, Ca in July 1974. Love to hear form any of you "Young Fellas" that remember me.

I was at Gunpost as a radar maintenance officer: 1954,55,56. it was a great experience but those winters were sure cold in the tents up at the site. We couldn't get parts for the space heaters. Fond memories..Thanks for keeping this site alive.

Willie, Since you lost everything, here goes again. I was stationed with 601st TCS Det 100 at Celle from 1965 till it closed, and then was sent to the Det at Neu Ulm with the Army. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest guys around, to have been stationed there. Keep up the site. I enjoyed all the pictures. Chuck Cotham
