I was station at Prum July 81 - July 84 as a ground(dirt)radio repairman. Now my son is in a mobile tactical unit at Hill AFB also in radio repair.

I arrived at Wasserkuppe in January 1959. Lived directly above Fritz's mausoleum on the site. About a year later I transferred to the 611th site at Alzey. I lived a few miles away in Kirchheimbolanden. Last two years were spent at Celle - Gunpost. One of the greatest periods of my life. We had a great bunch of guys to work with and know after work. I married a local girl, from Celle, in 1962, several months before I left. I have a number of photos. One of them Jerry Lindesmith sent this site.
