Really enjoyed looking at the site. Came across it whilst looking for more information on the Orion OMC-140 which I am seriously thinking of buying. I live in West Kirby on the Wirral so could buy the scope direct from the factory. If you don't mind me asking what sort of tripod did you take to the Canary islands? I have a heavy(ish) Manfrotto tripod used for birdwatching whilst not ideal could it be used with the 140 at lower powers?
