Great site keep up the good work. I to had a 6" neutonian used from a badly light polluted site, many objects are almost imposible to see but there are several planetery nebula bright enough to see, though some are quite small and look like stars at low power.I found I was better at finding them as I gained experiance.

Just nosing around for Astronomy groups and found your web site. Haven't done much observing lately but use my Starry Night Backyard software to see what's up tonight here in Illinois.

What a great site. I have an old 60mm Jason telescope that is junk and 11x80mm Parks binoculars that are very good but I want more. I have been debating over a 6 or 8" Dobsonian and after reading your site, I think I'll save the money and go with a 6" model. Thanks

Thank you for your web page. I am also interested in a first real telescope (I have a 60 mm refractor gave to me, with terrible mounting) and I need information about what to buy. Like you, almost, I have a light polluted sky, I live close to Knoxville, and can hardley see any stars on some otherwise clear nights. Mark W.
