I have been into amature astronomy since 1986. I have a 60 mm refractor and a 200mm (8 inch) Meade. I haven't been observing much lately but intend to get going again. It's a really great hobby and I have had many fantastic nights under the stars.

Found your site through uk.sci. astronomy newsgroups. Very interesting and enjoyable reading. I seem to be the opposite with my galaxies..I've found M81 & M82 but have never been able to trace M101! Clear skies, Andy Mac

Hey, have a look at M92. It is a small GLobular Cluster near M13. What do you think about it.

Just wanted to say thanks. My wife & I just bought what pretty much looks like the same telescope you have on your web page. We also have to compete with street lights nearby, also Manhattan just a few miles away. But we are learning where to look & what to expect, thanks in part to people like you. Thanks Again Bob
