How are you? I hope you are well. It's very interesting to learn of this, thank you for publishing it on the web. I will continue my research and always try to think for myself. I find the replies to your letters by the society very obscure and un-convincing. I myself have never seen a reply given by the society to an individual, it's obvious they haven't made a serious attempt to answer your questions. It's becoming clear to me that the society are not interested in the faith of individuals within their organization, and as in my experience if one has a difference of interpretation and that person can't see it from the societies interpretation and won't accept the 'council' (for thinking for themselves) that person, as in my case, get's ex-communicated or disfellowshiped (what's the difference?) It's like the matrix once you wake up the system rejects you. I have always maintained that the Bible 'The Rock' is open to interpretation therefore there cannot be a single interpretation. The Bible is a book for all peoples not just one group. Since the Bible is 'inspired of God' and it has been writen for all people all people must be given the right to read it and understand it for themselves and then do what they know to be right. When I was first ex-communicated I convinced myself, by reading and thinking, that God did not exist. But of late I have come to realize by reading the Bible for myself that God does exist, I believe that he loves everyone no matter what they do or who they are, skin color means nothing, religion means nothing. In my opinion religions are like different skin colors each one parading around declaring his own righteousness, and pointing the finger at his brother saying 'God does not accept you because you do not do what I do' the reaction to this statment is always volcanic simply because of it's sheer audacity. The person is basicly saying 'I know the mind of God, and I know who he will accept and who he will reject.' But how can man judge who God loves? This is Gods choice, man cannot make up the mind of God. To me it's simple Galatians5:14 reads 'For the whole Law can be summed up in this one command "Love others as you love yourself." -The Living Bible. What is love? I would say it is tolerance, understanding and being able to see anothers afliction and suffering, fellow feeling. Picture a group of people sitting in a cirle each reading the same passage of scripture and feeling free to say what it means to them and everyone understanding and agreeing that we are individuals with the ability to think for ourselves this is my dream. Is it ONLY chronology that determines the truth? The requisite proof of truth lies not only in the “facts” as perceived by an individual but also lies in the fruits produced by the followers. It is seen that the opposers of JW’s have ignored the evidence around them. The lies and deceit that the so called “true” church has been involved in over the centuries far outweighs any criticism that can be levelled against the witnesses, who by their track record have shown them to ( as is as possible with imperfect men) be truth bearers. Imperfect often illegible fragments of clay are supposed to be more authoritative than God’s own word the Bible? Jeremiah said that Jerusalem would be devastated for 70 years. Not 50 not 68 but 70. Are we to put God on trial here? Professor Olmstead said: "Only the merest fragments, abstracts, or traces, have come down to us. And the most important of these fragments have come down through a tradition almost without parallel. Today we must consult a modern Latin translation of an Armenian translation of the lost Greek original of the Chronicle of Eusebius, who borrowed in part from Alexander Polyhistor who borrowed from Berossus direct, in part from Abydenus who apparently borrowed from Juba who borrowed from Alexander Polyhistor and so from Berossus. To make a worse confusion, Eusebius has in some cases not recognized the fact that Abydenus is only a feeble echo of Polyhistor, and has quoted the accounts of each side by side! And this is not the worst. A mountain of evidence exists (according to some) that Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 BCE. Well, so be it. But does that prove that it is correct？ The Pharisees in Jesus day had “evidence” to “prove” that he was not the Messiah. Woe betides any who disagreed with them. However, Jesus said "I have the witness greater than that of John, for the very works that my Father assigned me to accomplish, the works themselves that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father dispatched me." (John 5:36) Note he didn’t use chronology to establish his credentials. His works were enough. Events, not chronology, would indicate who he was. The same today. Events not chronology indicate the time we are living in. The time of the end. Chronology is just a part of support for the truth. It will remain so. Look around you and see who is doing the greatest witness work ever, who are guiding people in their lives now to live by Bible principles and who try to help people understand the Bible rather than just tearing down the faith of others then decide which is more important, chronology or your faith in God’s word and his organisation.

if faith were the most important part you could believe in anything. nyou can have faith in everything - literally. if jesus followers didnt questioned their believe they never had followed jesus. im used to tell the people from house to house to question their believes by studying our scriptures. its not just faith... thats the problem for me. i cant believe that god wants us to lay back and believe what we're used to believe and taught without questioning it. for me its no search for truth when i studying the same literature from the very same source over and over again and being forbidden to read anything critical. its just obeying to some men. men i never met. i dont know much about their history. i dont want to say its plain wrong. i just cant live with that. i want to ensure my believings - at least for me. the problem is that its just impossible to do that.in the end its just believing in something a human told me. and that human read, calculated, thought and guessed about a book written and copied over and over again by other humans over the many, many centurys saying god inspired them. additionally that guy tells us that his thoughts about that book are truth and none else. its not as easy as it seems. :( if i were raised in strong catholic faith people would argue to me that the devil is reaching for me when i study with jw's. and that i shouldnt question so much, because its faith that i need.
