I have just spotted myself in a couple of the photos on this site! I lived at Aberlour Orphanage from 1944 to 1951. My older sister Margaret was also at the orphanage, and we both enjoyed our time there. I have visited Aberlour three times over the past 15 years; the last time was only a few weeks ago. It would be nice to hear from anyone who was at the orphanage around the same time as me!

I was in Aberlour from 1954 until 1964. Recognise a lot of names in guestbook and hope to go to the reunion in October. Does anyone remember my family William, Helen and Marion. Would love to hear from you.

I have been trying for some time to see if anybody remembers Peg Singer, my grand mother who was a cook at the Orphanage circa 1937/8. Somebody did contact me some time ago but havent heard from him since. There is a photo on childhood days of a woman who is my double and am sure it must be her.

my mother Bella Watson was born in Aderdeen 31/3/1916 and lived at aberlour for 16 years with2 oldr sisters Annie and peggie Wastson after her mther Ann Callan Watson(nee Webster died within 17 days after my mothers birth. Her father by all I,ve heard from my mum emigrated to Califinia and remarried. Would love to find out more of Peggie and annies lives too now that my m has passed away 2 months ago, Is it possible for me Linda Jonasson and my daughte to visit he lst reunion in october kindest regards linda jonasson

Iam trying to locate anyone who might have been at the orphanage with my dad george hay and his sister jessie Hay posibly around1925-early thirties we have just learned recently that my dad was there as his mother had died and his father could not look after him hope you can help us
