My family is from east TN and we've been bringing everyone together here in the summer for the past 5 years. We stay at a great house on the lake and really enjoy our time there together. Please let me know of any houses on the lake for rent that will hold 10-15 people comfortably; we are always looking for better spots. Also looking for weekend party spots. I hear there is a "party cove" somewhere on the lake....can someone fill us in? We have teens, 20's, 30's, 40's, and 70's and 80's in our group so we look for lots of diverse activities for everyone!! See you in June!!!

This has been a very pleasant place to vacation at. It was clean comfortable and fully furnished. Just like home away from home with the proprietors Mr. & Mrs. Howard being down home friendly and a wealth of knowledge of the local sites to see. Great Mountain View off of the covered porch and only 5 minutes from the lake to go fishing. The wife loved having everything she needed to cook our own meals if we wanted in a country setting, but still not far from being able to go out to eat at some fine restaurants. We will book our vacation here when we come down again. If you like to relax, look out over the mountains from the covered porch this is the place to be. Five Stars out of five stars.My wife and are from Michigan and have vacationed at MARGARETS Shady PLACE 865-767-3428.
