My dad and I use to fish over there a lot in the years past. I really do miss going down there and spending some great memorires there. I really enjoyed leaving the boat over at Gillmore Boat Dock. I hope to go back there sometime soon.

We love the Smokey Mtns and have been visiting for year in the area. End of June we met some friends from Georgia for a weekend visit. We decided to rent a pontoon boat on Cherokee Lake for an afternoon and fell in love! We couldn't get over how wonderful the lake was, how friendly everyone was to us and no mosquitos! Can't get over that! It was the BEST weekend we've had and plan to keep coming back for the beauty and peace we found there on the lake.
