Love Cherokee Lake, we have been going for 5-6 years on the 4th of July to uncle Shirl's Cabin at Gilmore Family Boat Dock. Decided at the last minute to go this past weekend. I caught the largest fish of my life. 33" 18.5 lb Striped Bass. The new owners of Gilmore boat dock are very nice and accomodating, my picture was taken with my fish and I was given two copies. Looking for a small piece of property to buy if any one has info; please forward to me. Thank you Cherokee lake.

I was born and raised in the Cherokee Lake Area and always lived with in a couple of miles of the lake. Always rode my dirt bike on the lake bottom as a child growning up. To bad TVA banned that activity. I currently own lake front property on Cherokee Lake and get back there as much as possible. There is no place like Cherokee lake and my wife and I are looking forward to making our home there as soon as possible.

Cherokee is by far my favorite lake in the area to fish. Great people, awsome Smallmouth Fishing, beautiful lake. My family and I fish Cherokee 10 to 20 times a year. Our dream is to live in the Beans Station area.
