Dear Christian, I have been watching The Young and the Restless since 1990, and I love your character of Michael Baldwin. I was reading in your bio that you've worked as a Substitute Teacher in the LA school district. I'm a junior high reading teacher myself, and I began as a substitute. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the show and especially your character.

I was delighted to read that you're an artist and writing your first children's book. I love to draw myself and also enjoy working with colored pencils. I have two ideas I'm working on - A story that takes place between after Christmas and to Valentine's Day and the second idea is a memorium to three cats that I lost in a barn fire. Because teaching jobs are difficult to enter in southwestern Michigan, I am presently tutoring as a Reading First Tutor in the morning, an At-Risk Tutor in the afternoon, and two times a week a Specialized Language Development tutor in a second elementary school building. I enjoy the character you play on Y&R. I've been a fan since the 70's when I was in high school. I feel like the cast is family. Hope you can answer this sometime...
