I just got off the phone talking with Leroy Yap who was in Delta, 3rd of the 22nd Infantry at the same time as I was in Alpha, 3rd of the 22nd Infantry during 1968-'69. Now we're looking for Capt. Don Haramoto who lives near me and hope to have a mini "3-man" 22nd Infantry Regiment reunion here on Maui! Your website looks good Delta,

JSUT WANTED TO PUBLICLY THANK JERRY FOR HIS WORK AT THE REUNION. I KNOW I'M A LITTLE LATE LOL BUT WANTED ANY OF YOU GUYS THAT MIGHT BE ON THE FENCE ABOUT ATTENDING OUR REUNION TO GO TO THE REUNION. I WAS ONE OF THOSE ON THE FENCE BUT MY BUDDY DENNIS STERRETT AND I DECIDED TO GO EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T KNOW ANYBODY. I CAN TELL YOU GUYS THAT THE FIRST TIME I MEET JERRY IT SEEM THAT WE HAD KNOW EACH OTHER IN NAM. HE AND THE REST OF THE GUYS MADE UP FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. IT DID ME SOME GOOD MENTALLY TO GET TOGETHER WITH MY BROTHERS SO IF YOU ARE SITTING ON THE FENCE GET OFF AND ATTEND OUR NEXT REUNION. I WAS WITH DELTA CO FROM 4/1/6/ TO 3/31/69. I LEARNED THAT I WAS IN THE SECOND PLATOON.

I never signed your guest book before, but I have visited it a few times. I served with HQ Co from Oct 69 to Nov 70 as the S2 SGT. Can't remember very many names anymore. I have been in contact with a few of the other Regulars. I retired from the Army with 27 years service in 1976. Chuck Harris.
