Hello Miho, I am Ildar. You are right, Japanese cold weahter must be much warmer than Russian. It’s a pity that often get cold. I hope this year will be luckier for you. Perhaps you know that some people like winter swimming here! They never get cold at all. I heard that in Japan you like rice, but do you eat any vegetables with it? And what about fruits? Here we grow not many fruits because of our climate, only apples, plums, cherrys, pears and vegetables. All other fruit like banans, grapes, oranges are brought from warmer countries. What do you like to do? What do you study at University? See you later.

Hello Chiemi, I am Dennis. I am impressed with your learning many languages. What for are you doing this? Anyway, it’s great, I think. Tell me more about your trips, which is more interesting. So you like Russian food! Can you cook it? Yes, piroshki are tasty, we eat them every day in our school canteen. I don’t like borsch, here we prefer pelmeni – they are made from pastry like very small piroshki and some meat is inside, then boil it. Tell me about your country, I think it is beautiful. Here is frosty winter now, trees are covered with snow, look like in fairy tale.

Hello Ayako! I am Sasha. Your letter is very interesting. So you want to eat! Here is a recipe of Russain salad we make for holiday, it called “vinigret”. Take some boiled potatoes (as many as guests you are waiting), some boiled carrots, beats. Cut them into the bowl, add some cutting preserved cucumbers and cabbage, add some green pees from the can then mixed and add some sunflower or olive oil. It is ready! Enjoy it! Tell me about traditional Japanese Food. We appreciate here japanese cars and electronics, like monitors, televisions etc. Have a nice day.

Hi Nataia,

It is really nice to hear that you have a teacher’s day as a public holiday. It seems like you and your students are very close to each other. I suppose you must be a great teacher in their minds. Christmas and New Year are coming, I bet they are busy buying you some presents or flowers for this festival. I wish we had a teacher’s day as well because it would be very nice for the hard working teachers and students as well. I suppose Jo would love it.
,br> I study Maths and Accounting and also one part English course at Jo’s college. Here is my college’s web site: www.barton-peveril.ac.uk if you have time why not go and have a look round the site. It is a very good college, I have really enjoyed studying there in the past few months. All the tutors are as nice as you all. Especially to me as I’m a mature student, they look me very well.

Do you have your school web site, so that we can look around it?
