Although I live in England, I was born in Gibraltar where the Finlaysons are quite a large family. My parents also live over here. I visited Braemar this summer but unfortunately I missed the gathering by a week, though I hope to make the next one. Excellent site by the way, it's good to know we'll fight anyone, anytime, anywhere. Farquarsons kick arse.

A tip: A little more information on the background and families under the Clan Farquharson and how Castle Bamoral (which was once Farquharson land) is now owned by the Queen? We just returned yesterday from Scotland, where we had the opportunity to visit Braemar castle and stay in Braemar, which was lovely. We are proud to be members of the clan!

Lovely to catch up with the Farquharson website again and read about everyones interesting family history and upcoming events. My great grandfather was Percy Gower Cresswell Farquharson, born in Belize, British Honduras, about 1860. Percy travelled to Australia as a young man, married and stayed. I hope to come to UK one day and visit some of my Farquharson relatives.
