I am a greatgrandaughter of Asa D. Ladd, grandaughter of Edna Ladd Ott and daughter of Viola Ott Bates, all buried in Pine Plains Cemetary in Clay, N.Y. I lived in Syracuse to age 14, remember many of my Ladd relatives and am in touch with a couple. I just stumbled on this site, fascinating.

Hi, My grandfather was Lou Ladd from Kinsgton. He ran a a small Tavern just outside of Kingston on Gallaher Road. It was called "Ladd's Place". He was shot and killed in it in 1974. My mother was Mary Helen Ladd. She passed away June 30, 1999. Anyone know any of my family? Thank you for reading my post.

Any connections to the Ohio Ladds? My grandmother has a book with a large listing of the Ladd family that I think traces it back to France, maybe further. Anyone have any information on this? Just email me.

Hi Im trying to find where my family came from but all my relatives seem to know is that we came from Arkansas. No one knows anything before they got there. My grandfather moved here from Arkansas.
