Born in Utica, NY My grandfather, 8 times removed was a John Ladd who was Revolutionary Way solder at Bunker Hill. Migrate to Schuyler, NY (just east of Utica)and became the first town superindentant. My Father Joe Ladd did research on this about 12 years ago, and was contacted by Jim Ladd from Chicago who organized the first Ladd Family reunion mentioned by another sign in guest. Jim has done a wealth of research, going back to Rhode Island landing with Roger Williams, with who we are related to through marriage. I was named after my uncle John, who was named after my grandfather, John, named after my great-grandfather John. The Schuyler Cemetary contains these three generations.

Hello. Part of the Ladd family from Westchester county New York. I believe our Ladd's made it to New York via Ohio and Tennessee. Hi, my grandmother's name was Jeanette Ladd. She was from New Hampshire. Her father was Clarence Ladd. He was sent to prison for murder and died there. My grandmother married William Thomas Morrill from New Hampshire. Does anyone know anything else about this family??
