I'm not sure why one would want a TX RIT. That seems counter productive as the station on the other end is going to have to adjust his RIT everytime you adjust your RIT and you'll never get things sounding right.

Picked up a HTX-100 tried the Freq mod. No luck. Will not tune out of it's range. Any ideas on why not? Were there more than one model of this rig? I.E. One Mods the other doesn't? Seems all it did was make the beep louder. Hmm anyway, great site!!

Hi KF2TZ, I just acquired an HTX-100 and ran across your modifications page. I made a contact with the HTX-100 with good audion report before I attempted your Mircophons Enhancement mod. I cut out the 560pf, (561J) cap and made a contact into YV1YV in Whithorse, Peter and he said my audio was 'badly distorted' and could only copy about 50%??? I'm in the process now of buying a new cap to replace the one I removed. Do you have any idea why this happened?? 73, Gil Larson, W7JBJ

Nice site! But also needed full schematics of HTX-100. Will be very appreciated cause need it urgently to make another mod - need to remove BK-IN function in CW cause VOX delay in CW is too long. Needed to make external PTT switch input and remove this BK-IN function.
