I see My family name Ullman in the list. My father John Frank Ullman came from Wittmann (Soloturn)in 1906 ai 17 to Canada and then to Oregon. I have not as yet found Ullmann listed in Wittman. Becker was my Grandmothers maiden name.

My mother and I really enjoyed your web-site. My grandmother (Pauline Ullman 9-24-04) was from Saratov and arrived in Battleford, SK with her parents in 1908 on the SS Victoria through New Brunswick. They stayed 1 year her baby sister Mary died of the flu, they then moved to Portland, Oregon. My great grandmother was Martha Becker, my great grandfather Frank Ullman had been in the Russian Army. They were German-Russian Catholics. Thank you for the great web site. We have such a small family we are always looking for similar family names that may have traveled. You have done a terrific job!!!
