Yes, Brian you are wrong. The law is now and has always been 21, not always I guess but since 1961. The law was proposed to change it to 18 recently and then vetoed back to 21 by the Governor and with a few added extras. Please go to www.ilga.gov and look up HB0029, it will give you the whole deal.

ok, so theres the whole freak-out deal about the tattoo law... i think youve got it all mixed up. the CURRENT law in illinois is that you must be 18. the law proposed was to change it to 21. it was vetoed, keeping it at 18... so i dont think you need your petition or anything anymore. if i'm mistaken, please let me know.
