Stationed at Wethersfield from 82 to 85, and again from 86 to 90. If anyone remembers me please feel free to e-mail me. Wethersfield was the greatest little base in the world. I worked with the best people anyone could ever hope for there. It also would appear that based on this web site that anyone that was ever based there feels the same..

My dad Ronald E. Peterson was stationed at Wethersfield in 54-57. He met my mother at the nursing college near there. I was temporarily stationed there in 1980 during the hostage crisis in Iran. It was interesting to be at the same base where I was born as well. If anyone knew my dad drop me a line.

WOW! What meemories? I have some old photos of RAF Weathersfield. From Labor day weekend in 1969 when I arrived and a few months later when they announced the base was closing. I was only there for 10 months but it was great. They had the best greasy hamburgers. I remember setting in the Theatre one day and watching Steve McQueen in Bullit abou 5 times. Great site I look forward to contributing.
