I was the 20TFW Targets Officer from June 1965 to May 1968. My son was born at the "hospital" at the Patch in October 1965 - one of the few that did not make it to Lakenheath. Lived in Braintree.
The website is great. Lots of memories. However, need a map of the base. Cheers

Wow, living in memories as reading this questbook. I was working at the Notley hospital with couple other Finnisg girls in Braintree 1966-1968 and often came to dances to the Weatherfield airbase and had some friends there.
It was great party-time of my life.
If anyone remembers us, I am sending warm hugs and best regards...maybe went by name Tira at that time...BYE!

Just reading through some entries after I posted mine and I recognised a name- Melissa Quinn (Hunter-Greco) and the names that were in her postings! That's amazing! Just what I was looking for! I was at elementary school with Sarah Robuck! That's a name from the past! Great memories! My sister Kerry who you know and will remember I'm sure would love to hear from you! The email links don't seem to be working, so here's my email: jbramer@btinternet.com - will be great to hear from you with the hopes of getting in touch with friends and staying in touch for many years to come! Please get in touch!

Hi! I went to the elementary school back in 1981-1984 at RAF Wethersfield, just when they were refurbishing most of the school (but the still kept most of the tin cans though!)! Great gym, new wings, etc. My dad is Msgt Robert (Bob) M Bramer (retired) who was an engineer. I would love to hear from anyone that might remember me (you know the teachers - Mrs Scott (she loved Diana Ross) or Mr Bozeman with his dicky bows, Mrs Johnson from Montana and that lovely teacher from Texas that taught Spanish after school (I can't remember her name!) or even anyone that worked with my dad (would love to hear first hand about how you suffered from the laxative cookies because you kept stealing his secret stash!) It is such a long time ago, but it would be great to hear from anyone that might want to get in touch! Thanks.

Up dating my email address. Have not been here for a couple of years. Was at the patch from 67-70 in the 77th. TFS as a crew chief. Trying to figure out how to email people I knew there.

I left Wethersfield in 1958. I am still hoping if anyone knows of Ann Harris from Braintree...she was my girl friend the last year I was there. I will never forget England or Ann. I was in the 77th jet engine shop.
