For those of you Stationed at RAFW from 1983 to 1988/89, several of us are planning a get together/reunion in August or September 2008 in Denver Colorado. Most of us are from the Red Horse Vehicle Maintenance Squadron, but if you were on base and know any of us, you are welcome to join us. People you may remember are Mike Wintz, Roger and Kim Carstensen, Jerry "Earndawg" Earnest, George Ordway, "Wild Bill" Harris, Dave Beebe, Tom Gryka, Mike Hoekstra, Joe Joyce, Chuck Brower, Hank Mart, Brian "Hag" Haggerty, Paul Koeppe, Larry Chard, Bob Bramer, Brian VenHuizen and myself. These are the names of people we have been in contact with, however, I know there are others and need help finding them. Please email me if you have info on any of these people. We are looking for, Dan Kulig, Sam Gardener, George Hamer, Mike Coats, Jerry "Chainsaw" McCulloch, and anyone else stationed at the Field during the 80's.

I was TDY there back in the early 1970's. I was in the 2MOB there doing some Electronic Equipment Testing. I had a good time and enjoyed my stay.

20th Supply Squadron, January 1970 - September 1970. Reassigned from RAF West Ruislip. Next assignment was Kincheloe AFB, MI. Discharged in June 1972.

My dad was stationed t wethersfield from 80 -84, I went to raf lakenheath school all four years and met my husband dwight (coop) cooper at wethersfield lived there until 1987. it was a great place for kids.

I am a member of the Ministry of Defence Police and was recently on a course at Wethersfield. I found an old dog tag in an area adjacent to the Bomb dump and would like information onits owner with a view to returning it to him. the details are as follows: Reardon Buddy M AF14751636 T66 APOS If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

USAF Supply Department from January 1970 to approx October 1970. Lived with wife in Long Melford. Son was born in April 1970 at RAF Lakenheath Hospital. Fond memories.
