I was stationed at weathersfield and high garrett from Feb 1970 to Nov 1971 working in the 2163 comm squad. I was an awful technician but looking back on it all I had the time of my life.

Just got back from Braintree Area in April 2009. Place is a huge walking mall. Traffic has to park on outside of area. I was with 2163 Comm Sq. Teletype Maintenance Shop from 69-71. I have real fond memories of that area and the people both locals and AF personnel.

Stationed at RAFW 54-57, with 55FBS.Looking for Tommy, Bob, Andy,Dick, Pete, Magoo,Lou Fresco, Dave Sheets, Lee Gunderson,Wally Smith,Tom (flight chief) (wifes name Dolly). There are tons more of the good guys, but age and memory fade fast. We're living the good life, beach and golf. As for golf I finally broke 100, on the front nine.

I am an Aviation historian and have found the 20th Website very interesting. There is some photos of the 20th ABG C-47,s taken in 1953.When,if correct ,the 20th was equipped with the F-84G.The early markings applied to the noses of the C-47's are very colourful and interesting. Can anyone inform me of the C-47's serial numbers please ,during the 1953 eara and has anyone any additional photos please.I will be most grateful for any possible help . Sincerely, Robbie Robinson.
