What's up Horsemen!! I was in the 819th Electric Shop 1985-1990. I was also a band member in the "Next Band" I left England in 1990 and was stationed at Nellis AFB Las Vegas, Nevada with the 820th Red Horse Squadron. I retired as a TSGT 1 May 2001. I am a "full time music producer. You can hear a lot of my background music production on the E Entertainment Channel "The Girls Next Door" the History Channel "Modern Marvels" FOX Sports, WGN America "Funniest Pets & People" TruTV Forensic Files, A&E Manhunters Fugitive Task Force, Nickelodeon and HGTV just to name a few. Is anyone still around from the 1966 - 1969 Wethersfield football team? This is when I played. Also, I won the USAFE light=heavyweight championship in 1969. We used to party at my house located in Gt. Dunnmow. Those were the days!!! I have been in touch with Barry Storms, Mat Dunn, Steve Greisinger and at least two other veterans from Wethersfield. Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year. I missed the USAFE football reunion in Las Vegas, this year; maybe next year???

I was here 61 to 65, I enfoyed the older photos. I wish I had gotten a good camera and an MGB and toured around and taken my own pictures. I was a mechanic in the motor pool, remember the private vehicle inspection sign and did some inspections in my time.

I was in the Field Mait. SQ from 1966 to 1970. Everyone knew me as speedy. I have kept in touch with Richard Renteriabut was looking for Bard DeVore, Jose Ramirez=Serna Or Ramon Barela and any others that I have forgetton about. I talked to Richard Sat Dec. 5th 2009 and he told me about this site would like to hear form anyone who was stationed there at that time. Speedy

While I was in the 20th Field Maintenance Squadron in the Weapons shop and Sgt. Eddy Reeder was in charge, he had us wind the clock at 8 AM everyday, even on weekends. If no one was working the weekend, someone was assigned to come to the shop at 8 and wind the clock Saturday and Sunday. When I was assigned to come wind the clock, I took it to the Radar shop Friday night just before quitting time and magnetized the clock until it barely would tick, went back to the Weapons shop and set it on the shelf again and no one noticed what I had done. Needless to say, my weekend was free. Monday Sgt. Reeder noticed the clock had the wrong time and reset it. An hour later it had moved only five minutes. He took the clock apart, cleaned and oiled it, put it back together again and still it ticked very slowly. We finally got an electric clock and he tossed the old one out in the garbage. I retrieved the old clock, demagnetized it and it still ticks away at my bedside over fifty years later.
