Was Attached to the Zoonoses Control clinic of the 20th TAC hospital at RAF Wethersfield from the Summer of 1966 through the summer of 1968. Have some very fond memories of being there. Only regret is I didn't take full advantage of my time there. I am very grateful for having the experience of being stationed there

This site has been in my favorites a long time. In 1955 I was written up by the Air Police for wearing Levi's in the snack bar. That was the beginning of a great tour from 55-58 in the 77th. Took part in the transition from F-84's to F-100's about 1956. Miss the pubs, girls and the guys I worked with. Went back to visit the base in 1987. The hangar and engine shop buildings still there. Great memories.

I just got done reading page 1 through the last page. It was like reading a great book that you can't put down. Every name that I looked at I felt I knew until I read the years that they were assigned to the Patch. Funny how it dosen't matter what years that we were stationed there all of us have a common love for R.A.F. Station Weathersfield.Ta-Ta for now.
