Great to see the Reeves web site is back in business. I served as a BT2 in the aft fireroom 84 to 87. Many great memories of serious steaming days and partying with good friends. Got to visit the old girl in Pearl after she was decomissioned and demilitarized. Plenty of pix available. I vote for a reunion!

Served on Reeves from 88 till 90 when My Honda MC had a disagreement with a Mazda RX7 near Lake Ashinoko. Everything is healing nicely. Miss Japan and the Reeves was the most fun I ever had with a ship.

My time on the Reeves was among the best time I had while in the Navy, On Reeves from Late 1979 to Late 1981. HT-2 at the time. I have about 300 pictures or so of my time there. When I get back on line at home I can send some to the site. My email is posted if any want to write

Was RM2 on board the Reeves from Sept. 72 to July 73. Glad to see the Reeves site finally come to life. Am proud to have served on board her under ADM Baggett.

Served on board from Dec '89 to March '93, while Reeves was stationed in Yokosuka, JA. Did the homported shift to Pearl Harbor. Currently serving as the the Command Master Chief in USS PORTER (DDG 78). Will always remeber the Reeves as my best tour of duty.

From March of 75 until July of 75 was the best damn 5 months of my Navy Career. Had to go to the USS Davidson FF 1045 on an emergency transfer. For those who remember E-mail me.
