I recently just took up researching the Strout/Strowte family line, because that is my mother's side of the family. I traced it back to Christopher Strout SR., and James/Anthony Strowte...James being born in 1582 unless my sources are incorrect. I am researching the CAVILL and CARVETH families. John Cavill (son of John Cavill and Elizabeth West) married Mary Ann Carveth (daughter of John Carveth and Elizabeth Secombe) in 1834 in St Breock. They had 2 sons born in Egloshayle and the family migrated to Australia in 1838. John was a stonemason. They settled at Balmain in Sydney. Any information would be gratefully received.
