yes i'm a victim too not once but twice now the only difference is i own a pest control company and i know what bit me that's my job and yes it was lampona but unlike many i have suffered only mild necrosis,this bite is still active after 5 months and much of what i have seen on your site and others confirms my suspiscions about the little b.Look forward to hearing from u as i know a good deal about this spiders habits and it's dwellings,and yes i got the obligetry recluse spider from a toxicollogist here too.

Hi, We were recently informed in our local north shore newspaper about this spider that has recently appeared inside our house, particually in summer. Our children prompted us to find out more about it. We were not aware until recently that its bite can cause many problems!

I have not been bitten myself but I have had a few near misses as recently as yesterday...one of the little suckers climbed into the pocket of my jacket overnight and I saw him/her climb out as I was walking to the kitchen (Just seconds away from putting my hand in there )after just putting it on. Thought it was time to find out more and found your site. Well done ..im a lot wiser now !
