Hi Nancy. I recently came across your web page on Straubs as I have been doing some genealogical research myself. I was really struggling with it until I came across Diana's Straub work, which really opened up the doors and has been a big relief. We are in the process of developing a Straub family web page which will display my direct paternal genealogy and then I hope to be able to build on all the siblings decendants as people contribute to it. I have been looking for connections from our central Pennsylvania Straub line to Straubs in other states. There were simply too many children to have all of us remain there. I hope the work you have done as well as that of Diana can all be collaborated so we can get a larger view of the Straub tree. Is what you have discovered about Straubs only displayed here or do you have more information? Good to chat with another Straub Stephen

I am the son on Merton Dangremond and Lillian Straub. My mother was the second daughter of Sheldon Straub. My grandmother and he were devorced(?) long before I was born. I know very little about him as my mother had very bad feelings about how he abandoned(?) her mother and siblings. I belive I have a photo of Sheldon and maybe his parents, although I am unsure it is them. Contact me at email address above if you wish.
