I've just read Tiny's story for the first time tonight and it absolutely breaks my heart. It has never been illegal in any state to ride a Harley or wear a beard and tattoos but for some reason it seems to bring out the worst in many cops. This Deputy should at the very LEAST loose his job for his abuse of position but he should face minimum charges of Man Slaughter for causing someone's death. Even if actually running over Tiny wasn't intentional (which I'm not sure I believe anyways) the simple act of making vehicle to vehicle contact should be considered the sole cause of the crash based on size diference and the relative unprotection a motorcycle offers. The Deputy hit him from behind. Isn't this the vehicular equivilant of shooting a fleeing subject in the back? At the point when the persuit ensued Tiny was only guilty of a misdemeanor traffic offense. Even if all of the other allegations are true, they didn't come into play until AFTER the fact. Sure, Tiny probably should have stopped and faced the music but we all have made bad decisions from time to time. This did not give Deputy Coe the right to declare himself Judge, Jury and Executioner. My heart goes out to Tiny's family. I understand how it is to loose someone you love and have it clouded by police hiding something and protecting their own. Be strong guys...have faith that if Coe isn't held responsible now, he'll have to answer for it in Hell.

thanks todd and debbie for a great time for a great cause. Rene and the kids have been through the ringer these last few months. Not only have they had to deal with the death of father/husband they have had to put up with the randolph co. sherrif department's crap. They are trying to cover their butts every which way they can. In a attempt to make ther self look justified they choose to slander Tiny. When the bottom line is this, Tiny passed someone on a double yellow line, deputy Coe saw this and choose to pursue no matter what the cost Tiny was going to stop HE WAS THE LAW!! This could have been anyone of your loved ones who decided not to stop for whatever reason. Is this reason to die.Please consider when you say he should have stopped this could have been your loved one, and do you really want the cops to be judge and jury. By the way their is one more thing that upsets me. It is the fact that this officer was not drug tested. WHY NOT? All eyewitness reports say the deputy was driving erratically and acting aggressively not Tiny. Why are people so ready to assume (assume: makes a butt out of you and me) the cops are out for the good of the people I say they should be drug tested and made accountable for there actions. Their job is to protect and serve , not seek and destroy.A friend always to Rene,Ben, and Jesse.Tiny RIP I will miss you. Shell.

our hearts go out to rene,ben,and jesse we knew rene not only as our supervisor,but as our friend ,we knew ben , jesse and tiny ,mostly over the phone when we needed to call rene about work or just to talk , we finally met rene family and they was just as nice in person as they was over the phone,tiny helped rene give me(roger)a tatto and he was really nice to me and my family .no matter what he did he DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DIE.tiny was someone husband , father, brother and son.the people that didn't know tiny, should stop and think wonder if this was your love one,so please have a heart and don't write anything mean.instead pray that this dosen't happen to anyone else.rene and her children need support , so please have heart,this hurts them that people can be so mean,no one knew tiny like they did.people you didn't know tiny ,should think what it is doing to the family,WE LOVE YOU RENE ,JESSE,BEN AND OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. I had known tiny since i was like 14 and you could not ask for a more kind hearted person he also gave me my first tattoo. He was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back and not ask twice about it and I will miss him and my send my prayers and out to Renee, Jesse and Ben. we lost a really good person and friend
